Our pretty quart canister is in
UNDAMAGED CONDITION (like new)
without chips or
cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The lid is in great condition as well. The canister is nice and clean without residue. The original lid is excellent.

The Hocking Glass Company produced a complete line of  transparent green kitchenware during the Depression Era.  Their offering included pitchers water bottles, tumblers, a pretzel/cookie jar, reamers, decanters, canisters, a butter dish, measuring cups, leftovers, mugs, casters, syrups, and spice shakers.  Canisters were made both ribbed and plain.  The apple green color is striking and matches the green Depression Glass dinnerware patterns that were produced by Hocking during this time period.
