    Description

A wonderful mid-century modern decanter designed by Mona Morales-Schildt for Kosta Boda. Simple clear glass decanter bottle with green glass stopper. Measures approx. 10.5"h (including stopper) x 5.5"dia at widest. In fair vintage condition, with no chips or cracks observed, but general wear commensurate with age/use, such as some small light isolated surface scratches/scuffs (most to the bottle's bottom underside), a small nick to the bottle exterior, significant water stains to the bottle interior, and slight wear to the stopper's edges - see pictures. Signed on bottom underside "Kosta, SH, 195." Mona Morales-Schildt worked for Kosta Boda from 1958-1970, and as her earlier pieces were signed "SH" with the model number, we suspect that this decanter dates closer to the late 1950's/early 1960's.
