This 1985 Eldon Woodine 6500 solid oak 2-tier letter tray remains in great condition...after 36 years!
Not absolutely perfect. Just looks it.
There's a little wood "dig" at back/side of top tray, and adjacent, a red mark; see last 2 images.
Of course, shown in magnification and they're really not a bother, especially being in the back.
The little splintered wood bit had some clear glue applied, so it's set solid. I cleaned the red mark some to lessen, and I think can totally be removed with a bit more rubbing.
That said, the tray is clean, wood has been oiled & buffed. You can see for yourself in the many clear images provided.
Gold-tone spacers look gold, just one sort of blotch on one, not even worth mention, but done so for disclosure. You probably won't even notice...
Measures 15 1/4" x 11 1/4", x 6 1/4" in height.
Inside tray measures 13" x 9 3/4" approximately.
No
wear to varnish, especially the front where it usually appears from use.
Protective bottom intact and retains the Eldon label.
Nice piece, ready for many more years of service!
